The County Hotel is a family run business. We are customer focused and endeavour to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as we can. Situated approximately 2 miles from the banks of Loch Lomond, one of the magnificent sea lochs of Scotland, our Hotel provides 10 en-suite bedrooms, a public bar and a 50 seater dining area for you to enjoy your evening meals in.  The County Hotel is based at the entrance of Helensburgh birthplace of Television inventor John Logie Baird.


Sir Ian Colqhoun named the town after his wife Helen. He built spa’s, ferry links and attracted visitors from Glasgow and beyond.


The County Hotel is a brisk 10 minute walk away from spectacular views of the seafront and the town centre. The Hill House is a fine tourist attraction situated on the top of Sinclair Streetand is well sign posted.
